Honda December Lease Deals Kick Off With the 2026 Prologue EV

The 2026 Honda Prologue in a Nutshell

With a little help from General Motors, the Prologue is Honda’s first true attempt at the electric car market in America. Its underpinnings are straight from the Blazer EV, and it’s been selling relatively well, all things considered.

It was announced in 2022, previewed in 2023, and deliveries started in 2024. It’s built in the same plant as the Blazer EV, and it’s about the same size as the Passport. Interestingly, the Prologue has been outselling the Blazer EV despite being the same under the skin. Brand perception, perhaps?

For the 2026 model year, there are three trim levels to choose from, along with two drivetrain options. Prices range from $47,400 to $57,900, making the Prologue the most expensive Honda sold in America at the moment.

2026 Honda Prologue Lease Deals for November

Interestingly, there are two lease offers available for the 2026 Prologue AWD Touring. One is a special deal for those who own a 2011 or newer Honda, Buick, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Fisker, Ford, GMC, Hyundai, Jeep, Kia, Mazda, Mini, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Polestar, RAM, Rivian, Scion, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, VinFast, and Volkswagen. There are others, well, for those who don’t.

Those who own any of the brands mentioned above can lease the Prologue AWD Touring for $369 for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing. The other offer is $469 for 36 months with $4,099 due at signing. Offer valid until January 5, 2026, and it’s $0.20 per mile over 10,000 miles per year.

There’s also a promo for the 2025 Prologue AWD Touring, and a special deal for the 2026 model applies as well. It’s $289 for 36 months with $3,899 due at signing, or $389 for 36 months, also at $3,899 due at signing.

2026 Honda Prologue Highlights

The Prologue’s three trims are EX, Touring, and Elite, two of which are available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Elite, on the other hand, is all-wheel drive only. But regardless of the model chosen, all have the same mechanicals. No long-range or standard-range versions here, just a simple range to keep things neat and tidy.

All use an 85 kWh battery pack, so there’s a fair bit of range thanks to its battery size. Honda claims up to 308 miles for the front-wheel drive versions. The all-wheel drive models get a hit due to the extra motor, but it’s still a decent 294 miles (283 miles for Elite AWD). Single motor FWD Prologues make 220 hp, while the dual motor AWDs put out 300 hp.

Final Thoughts

Truth be told, the Prologue has been a surprise hit for Honda. Let’s be honest, a reskinned GM product doesn’t exactly sound like a formula for success. But, as we mentioned, it’s been outselling the model it’s based on, and could inspire Honda to invest more in EVs.

Does it drive like a Honda? Er, not quite, but there’s still a lot to like about it. There’s a good range, buckets of space inside, and charging speeds are relatively quick. It’s not the least expensive EV crossover out there, but it’s still one worth considering.
